那一次我学会了原谅作文400
That time I learned to forgive
I still remember that day. I was walking home from school with my best friend, chatting about the day. Suddenly, we heard a loud crash behind us. We stopped and turned around to see an elderly man had fallen onto the ground. We rushed over to help him.
The elderly man was in a lot of pain and he was shaking. We helped him to his feet and asked him if he was okay. He said he was, but he was clearly in pain. We asked if he needed any help and he said he just wanted to go home. We offered to help him, but he refused. He said he was fine and he didn’t need any help.
We were about to leave when we noticed that the elderly man had dropped something. It was a small box. We asked him what it was and he said it was a gift for his granddaughter. He said he was on his way to give it to her when he fell. We offered to take it to her for him, but he refused. He said he wanted to do it himself.
We were about to leave when the elderly man suddenly said something that made us stop. He said, “I’m sorry.” We asked him what he was sorry for and he said he was sorry for being so stubborn. He said he should have accepted our help and he was sorry for not doing so.
At that moment, I realized that sometimes it’s hard to accept help, even when we need it. I also realized that it’s important to forgive yourself for your mistakes and to learn from them. I thanked the elderly man for the lesson and we said goodbye.
That day, I learned an important lesson about forgiveness. I learned that it’s important to forgive yourself for your mistakes and to learn from them. I also learned that it’s important to accept help from others, even when it’s hard to do so. That day, I learned to forgive.
